Mum Amanda just knew tha something wasn't right with her baby and, on her persistence, specialists at Christchurch Hospital confirmed her fears - her 10-month old baby, Manuaitu, was diagnosed with a liver tumor.

In late 2009, the lives of the Thoresen family dramatically changed when their daughter Lilly was diagnosed with Biliary Disease, which required her to have a liver transplant in May 2010...

In November 2008 Leesa gave birth to beautiful twins – Charlotte and Ryan. This joyous occasion soon turned into one of anxiety when they learnt that Ryan was experiencing heart difficulties. This brought them to a place they had only heard of but knew nothing about - Ronald McDonald House Auckland.
